We are life-long Energetic Dowsers, spanning three generations, with a fourth generation on the cusp of learning this wonderful skill.

Over the years, after owning countless pairs of rods, I found that I had a few common frustrations with every single one of them:

1) The diameter of the handle was too small, especially for folks with larger hands. Holding those tiny little handles causes the hands to curl unnaturally tight, which is tiresome after a very short period. I had also seen many people want to hold the handles in between their thumb and the tips of their fingers rather than nestled in the palm of the hand simply because traditional rod handles are so small. The crown chakra is represented in the center of the palm, with the other chakras represented on the thumb and fingers (except for the root chakra, which is represented at the wrist), so clenching the hands tightly or using only the thumb and fingertips “short circuits” the powerful energetic connection that is present in the hands. I wanted to create a set of rods which ENHANCED that connection rather than limiting it.

2) Safely transporting and storing a traditional set of dowsing rods is difficult. Their awkward shape and fragile nature made it almost impossible to throw them into a backpack without bending or to store them in an organized way. My rods go with me EVERYWHERE, including deep into thick forests and on kayaking trips. I desperately wanted a set of rods that could take the punishment I dole out on a daily basis.

3) I am an avid rockhound, who is especially enamored with all of the beautiful rocks and minerals in my local area. I would much rather find a stone than buy one, and I always have an abundance of them in my pockets or somewhere nearby. Many of the stones that I collect naturally enhance energetic work (especially when held in the palm of the hand), and I always wished that I could hold some of my stones while dowsing rather than just having them in my pockets.

So, I decided to create my own style of rods which would be highly functional, practical, and beautiful to look at as well as hold. They had to enhance the energetic connection to it’s fullest, operate smoothly & accurately, satisfy my desire to have my beloved stones in contact with the palms of my hands while I was working, and still be easy to store and transport without incurring damage under the most demanding circumstances. After a lot of trial and error, I settled on a design that met my requirements and began production in my tiny workshop.

Many of the stones that are in the handles of our rods have been collected one at a time, carefully cleaned, and slightly polished by my own hands. I feel like the vibrancy of the stones’ energy is maintained at its most powerful when they are carefully and responsibly gathered with excitement and joy rather than commercially mined and polished. When it is necessary for me to purchase stones, I cleanse them and then “seed” them with the natural energy present in their hand collected counterparts.

Every single dowsing rod is handcrafted one at a time, and they are all tested, balanced, and energetically charged for their purpose before they leave my presence. They will serve you well for many years to come.
